Papercut is throwing a summer party to celebrate a year in our zine shack, and also the return of 1,000 water-damaged zines, and also we just like to party. There will be a barbecue featuring lots of veggie dogs/burgers, popsicles, icy bevs, good tunes and general mischief.

* Katie Haegele is a writer and longtime zine maker from Philadelphia. She co-hosts a performance series in her home, and is on the board of directors of The Soapbox Community Print Shop & Zine Library in West Philly. She’ll be reading from a new zine, a collection of short stories about cats she’s known and loved. thelalatheory.com

* The Displaced Snail will be reading weird poetry from a collection called Colors with the help of his Kaleidoloop, and from a zine of fabricated bug lore called Terrestrial Invaders.
